April 15, 2026

Ulrike Rudolph, beloved wife of Jürgen Ruldolph for 38 years, went to be with Jesus on Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2026.

She had been battling cancer for the past eight months. In the final weeks before her passing, she was able to consciously experience God’s peace and presence, and as a family, we were able to spend many hours by her side until the very end. Now she has finished her journey and is in a better place. As a family, we miss her very much. All these years we solely ministered in missions together. The Lord gave us five children and four grandchildren.

In the last few weeks, Ulrike–even though she was no longer responsive–several times repeated two Bible verses loud and clear:

  • He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak (NIV, Isaiah 40:29)
  • The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? (NIV, Psalm 27:1)

Her love for missions and especially the people of Africa will be remembered for years to come.

She is survived by her husband Jürgen, and children Annika (Dominik, Mathilda), Stella (Thomas, Leonas, Rabea, Ezra), Kristin, Stephanie, and Kevin.
