Anthony “Tony” Dean Gaffney
July 22, 2025Anthony Dean Gaffney (March 6, 1957Â ~Â June 5, 2025) was a passionate missionary, a faithful servant, a visionary leader, and a living example of dedication to the Kingdom.
He loved God with his heart, mind, and soul. He served with conviction, walked in faith, and brought light wherever he was called. His leadership was not loud, but profound. He saw the details that others overlooked and covered them with wisdom and love. He lived each day with intention, with a clear, strategic plan, always seeking to bear fruit—because his mind and spirit were focused on the eternal.
He was a devoted, respectful, and loving husband to Silvia. Seeing how he cared for her, listened to her, and honored her, taught his family, without words, what love truly means. He gave us a healthy, firm, and real concept of romantic love.
Also known as “Papo,” he was a tender and fun grandfather whose presence sowed faith, values, and unforgettable memories. He was a man who blessed with just his gaze and who left in each of us a seed that will continue to bear fruit.
His legacy remains: a life full of purpose, an unwavering faith, an inspiring example, and the certainty that today he is home in the arms of his beloved Lord.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” – Matthew 25:23
