Maxwell and Debbie Thompson

Maxwell and Debbie have been in Liberia for approximately 10 years where Maxwell is currently the Chief Administrator of the Phebe Grey Memorial Orphanage in Liberia, Africa. In addition to their ministries at the Orphanage, they have planted a church in a traditional African village, which has just celebrated its ninth anniversary.  They continue to evangelize, assist the needy, and minister to the ill and hurting.

They previously served in Brazil for 12 years.  Maxwell and Debbie are parents to five children and have ten grandchildren.  They are proud of the heritage of missions which has been passed down to their family.  Their daughter Lydia and her family are also COGWM missionaries serving in Guinea Bissau.
