Houston and Alicia Edwards

We are serving and ministering in the beautiful nation of Colombia among the Andes Mountain range in the department of Santander. We live in the town of Curití in the village of Vereda Zamorano where our mission first began in 2022 when God called us to make a massive impact in the hearts and lives of the children and youth of Colombia. We began by restoring our village’s once dilapidated school and recreational area into a center of life and hope for our community, fully remodeling the school building, building a brand new playground, and repairing and repainting its soccer court.

From our humble beginnings in our home village of Zamorano, God has expanded our mission throughout our department of Santander. We have been able to build five more playgrounds, remodel eight soccer and basketball courts, build a brand new school for our neighboring village of Acacias, lay concrete floors in the homes of over 20 families once living on dirt floors, and provide Christmas gifts to over 100 families each year.  Through these acts of love and compassion, incredible opportunities for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ have manifested in a mighty way, and hundreds have been led to Christ.

We have had the opportunity to hold pastors conferences in the capital and crusades on the new basketball courts, minister in churches, villages, prisons, schools and government headquarters, and provide devotions and personalized scripture cards for the children and families of each community. The door is now open for us to minister and share the Gospel in each and every one of the villages and inner city neighborhoods where we serve.  Opportunities for ministry are continuing to multiply.

In our hearts, we believe God is going to bring revival, transformation, and restoration to the nation of Colombia.  Our lives are devoted to this mission and calling from God.  We are so grateful to be representing the Church of God, and we are so grateful for all of our donors and partners who sow into our life and mission.
