John R. Harris, Jr. serves as Global Missions Training Coordinator for Church of God World Missions where he leads efforts to equip and care for missionaries. With more than three decades of ministry experience, he has served in a variety of leadership roles in the local church, most recently as a lead pastor as well as in regional and international ministry initiatives.

Having served in missions and ministry across numerous nations, John is passionate about equipping believers, advancing missions, and inspiring the Church to take the Gospel to the nations. His ministry experience includes leadership development, missionary training, cross-cultural ministry, and helping churches engage the Great Commission both locally and globally.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Lee University (1999), a Master of Divinity (2006), and a Doctor of Ministry (2015) from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary.

John has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for more than thirty years. They have two sons, Marcus and his wife, Kali, and Ryan. Together, they are grateful for the privilege of serving Christ and His Church.
