The Nascimento Family began planting the Church of God in the nation of Guinea-Bissau in 2018. The first congregation is now going strong and reaching souls for God’s Kingdom. The growth of the Church of God in Guinea-Bissau has been fueled by outreach ministry and the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit. One young Muslim man gave his heart to Christ through soccer outreach and continues following Christ despite the rejection of his family. Another turned to Christ through English classes. Now, he testifies, “Jesus came and spoke to me in my dream. I don’t believe only because the missionaries told me about Jesus, I believe because He spoke to me!”

Now land has been purchased where the Church can build a ministry headquarters. The plan is to build a multi-function building to provide the following:

1. A sanctuary to house a second life-giving congregation.
2. Classrooms for the church and outreach ministries.
3. Housing for church leaders.
4. National offices for the Church of God in Guinea-Bissau.
5. A soccer court for sports outreach.

This project will help the Church of God shine the light of Christ in a Muslim-majority nation. It will provide a place of hope and love where the surrounding community and nation can encounter Christ and be transformed and discipled in His Kingdom. Partner with us to make this dream a reality!
