Visit to Africa

John traveled to Angola and Mozambique in Africa during the month of March.  While in Angola, John translated for Field Director Fred Brannon during a series of meetings with church leaders.  John also had the opportunity to teach the group of around 200 regarding various subjects on ministry.

In Mozambique, John ministered during one session to the pastors and leaders of the Maputo area, and then ministered in the central church to a congregation of around 1,000.  While in Mozambique, John was able to meet with several of the missionaries that had graduated from the Missionary Training Center in Sao Paulo.  It was a rewarding experience to see first-hand what our missionaries are doing. 

Plans were made regarding the sending of other Brazilian missionaries to these Portuguese-speaking nations.  Our prayer is that God will raise up many other workers for these needy countries that are ripe unto harvest!
