You can become a partner together with us in ministry!  As missionaries, we are part of a group of believers that are "sent out" as "apostles to the Gentiles."  Just as Paul was called by God and sent forth under the spiritual authority of the local church in Antioch, missionaries are sent forth as apostles to reach other ethnic groups with the gospel message.  You can be a part of that sending through various means.

First of all, your prayer support is needed.  Without the spiritual covering of intercession, our family is left vulnerable to all types of spiritual attack.  We minister in a country dominated by Spiritism, with forms such as Macumba, Umbanda, Candomble, and others which envoke the powers of demonic beings.  Spiritual warfare is an everyday reality, and your missionaries can feel the difference when the churches stop praying for them!

Secondly, you can participate through your financial support.  Through giving of your means, you are contributing to the Kingdom of God by giving back to God a part of your life.  The time and energy spent in earning your income is symbolic of a part of your life, and by giving it back to God, you are sacrificially giving of yourself to the Kingdom.  As your missionaries, we are an extension of the local church reaching out into the harvest field as personal representatives of those who send us.  Those who provide the seed to the sower will receive the same reward as those that gather in the harvest (II Co. 9:10-11.

Thirdly, there are many ways to become personally involved in missions- beyond praying and giving!  You can begin by reaching out to other cultural and ethnic groups in your neighborhood through friendship evangelism.  Short-term missionaries can assist missionaries on the field by conducting evangelism crusades, street ministry, music ministry, and other means.  Construction crews can build churches or remodel facilities that are in desperate need of attention.  Any type of personal visit to the mission field is guaranteed to change your vision and to give you a heart of compassion for the lost.

The important thing is to become involved!  Complacency and procrastination will not build the Kingdom of God.  Go beyond being a spectator to what God is doing around the world to become an active part in the move of the Spirit!  Pray diligently that the Lord would show you some way to become involved in taking the gospel to other cultures!
