Missionary Evangelists Print E-mail

Missionary Evangelists are those volunteers who feel a specific call to evangelism and who have been given approval by the Missions Board. Their work is usually short-term and is a cooperative effort with a Field Director and the Regional Superintendent in a targeted area.

The Missionary Evangelist Process

After developing an itinerary and budget for Board approval, the evangelist may then raise money in local churches, with the written approval of the state of area administrative bishop. All receipts are deposited with World Missions. The budget is then dispersed through regular means by World Missions as the ministry takes place.

Missionary Evangelist are part of the communication and fellowship activities of World Missions.
